Dear Doves

Here are some upcoming events and activities lined for at least term 1 of 2011.
1. CCA Exhibition Orientation Day (Week 2): - To build structures to showcase our Scouting talent in Pioneering.
We would need to start immediately when school reopens in starting to make the structures.
PL Gerald will brief you all.

2. Kayaking 1 Star (2days) and 2 Star (3days) programme at Pasir Ris Water Venture around either end of Jan on Sat & Sun or.by mid Feb estimated.
The 1 star program will cost $50 which you will pay using Edusave (except for those who don't have enough to pay by cash).
The 2 star program costs $65. [Those who went for the 1 star last year are Jonathan, Gerald, Rashidah, Martin, Austin, Justin]

3. Possible Level 2 Abseiling and Sports Climbing course at Pasir Ris Water Venture by term 1 too [TBC].
They've just opened a brand new Sports Climbing and Abseiling wall at the Pasir Ris Water Venture in March this year. And the prices for the courses are a bit cheaper, so its the ideal choice for us being nearer too. Don't get too happy about it yet. Whether we are going or not, to be confirmed. Read article here.

4. Ok, so far that's about it. Please look at the calendar on the left as I have updated the activities and events there.

Rest well and look forward to a more fun and wonderful year 2011

Dear Doves

For those who went for the Singapore Jamboree 100, I believe that it was definitely an enriching and worthwhile experience for you eh? Weather-wise, it wasn't really so bad after all with the rain in the evenings for most of the days and sunny weather in the mornings and noons. Too much MOZART? Haha... Do rest well for the remaining of the Dec holidays and do allocate time to go through your books for next year so you'll be more prepared for the coming year ahead in juggling your studies and Scouting and everything else. Thank you all for being such lovely and a terrific bunch of Scouts.

Next year Malaysia Jamboree 16 Nov 2011 anyone?
